18818 fans braved the pouring rain at Gárdonyi Park. Delio Re was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Siewert Naudts and . Gentlemen prefer blondes and Csillagok prefers a 4-5-1. Let's see how this plays out for them. They fielded: Araoz - Vlaszák, Racevičius, Micović, Montvai - de Carvalho, Meksz, Pap, Barreira, Wittich - Turpin.

After thorough analysis and consultation of astrological charts, Hellinger decided to go with a 4-4-2 formation. Starters: Szende - Guéguen, Gramatyka, Kubatovics, Liardo - Leca, Vianna, Hierro, Richard - Moroianu, Kubik.

Today, Csillagok's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks, taking advantage of their extra-terrestrial ability. With 7 minutes gone, the home side took a 1 - 0 lead as Ádám Vlaszák raced down the right flank and casually flipped the ball into the net after a searing cross from the far side of the pitch. Csillagok were determined to attack down the sideline and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favor of the wings. Csillagok managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Virgile Turpin slid in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Csillagok lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Virgile Turpin tipped the corner kick right to the keeper, who mishandled it, giving Csillagok's Viktor Pap a chance to knock it in for 3 - 0. After 34 minutes, Aleksandar Micović put Csillagok ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. The referee showed Csillagok's João Pedro Barreira the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Things were going from bad to worse for the visitors. András Meksz was able to squirm through the central defense after 41 minutes and score, bringing the lead to 5 - 0. Virgile Turpin should probably have put his team up another goal after 42 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Ferenc Szende kept the visitors in the game. With 43 minutes played, Csillagok's Ádám Vlaszák received a yellow card for challenging a play with his cleats first. The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0. The Count appeared on the jumbotron and announced that Csillagok had 75...75 percent possession. AH AH AH!

Maximilien Richard didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the field in spite of the rain. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 56 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but Ferenc Szende got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Hellinger's Paulo Vianna was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the field after 64 minutes. Jean-Claude Salvisberg was given a chance to change things around. The game was close to savage at times, and Csillagok's João Pedro Barreira received a second yellow card after 66 minutes; his ticket to the dressing rooms. It was obvious that Csillagok had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Csillagok's Aleksandar Micović was delighted to score as he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing keeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing. 6 - 0 after 68 minutes. The clock read 68 minutes and things were deteriorating for the away team as Csillagok scored another to make it 7 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for István Montvai. Dániel Szánthó was called on to replace Csillagok's Deimantas Racevičius after 80 minutes following a nasty collision. Csillagok set the tempo, maintaining 69 percent of possession.

The most outstanding Csillagok player was without a doubt András Meksz. Good thing István Montvai isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. Adrian-Virgil Moroianu performed admirably for Hellinger. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by Krystian Gramatyka today. The match ends 7 - 0.
