A scorching day at Rhinoceros Stadium, where 1811 spectators were in place for today's match. Erno Kilpelä was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Olof Fagergård and . The match took place on neutral ground. DynamoIII started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players took the field: Niewęgłowski - Artaraz, Usarralde, Jagusz, Ananio - Städtli, Kylmäoja, Svobodník, Senohrábek, Zorrilla - Glockner.

Monterotondo had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Rinelli - Fiscarelli, Ferreira Silva, López - Šidlovský, Williams, Payan, Koret, Sanaslahti - Manolache, Wuoti.

22 minutes in, DynamoIII appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. Monterotondo's Markus Koret managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 24 minutes. 0 - 1. With 41 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Cris Williams of Monterotondo to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Monterotondo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that DynamoIII had solid organisation. After 48 minutes, Stefano Fiscarelli made a complete fool of himself when he presented the ball to the feet of Kilian Glockner who smashed it into the open goal for DynamoIII. 1 - 2. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Jesús López got himself booked. The manager of Monterotondo was not happy. What was Stefano Fiscarelli thinking? That's what everyone wondered when, for no apparent reason, he shot a cross pass over his own penalty area, giving Gerardo Zorrilla an extra chance, but unfortunately for DynamoIII, he didn't get the shot right. 64 minutes into the game, Monterotondo worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. A drive down the left side allowed Akseli Wuoti to get in close and score another goal for Monterotondo after 69 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 3. As usual, Cristian Manolache tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. 84 minutes into the game, DynamoIII seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. The visitors' Cristian Manolache took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 85 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Monterotondo. Confident in their lead, Monterotondo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 88 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 5 as Robert Payan finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Possession in this half belonged to Monterotondo, who controlled the ball 72 percent of the time.

DynamoIII's top performer was clearly Fausto Ananio. However, Gustaw Jagusz made a disastrous appearance. Akseli Wuoti performed admirably for Monterotondo. Jesús López was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 5.
