172003 fans braved the pouring rain at Miejsce na Twoją reklamę. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and Inge Is. Polska started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. They fielded: Marcinek - Duczmalewski, Pieniądz - Niemczewski, Koczaj, Walkowicz, Orzeszyna, Kliński - Szajda, Grzegorzek, Bartelik.

Pakistan decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. Lineup: Nabibukhsh - Sulaiman, Umar, Kuukburi, Muhammed - Yaqub, Yasin, Muhammad, Jatoi, Masood - Godharvi.

The strategy for Pakistan was to use their excellent ability to press. Kleofas Grzegorzek spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. Roman Koczaj of Polska seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Zbigniew Kliński. Always quick on his feet, Polska's Zbigniew Kliński sped down the field after 14 minutes, but his pass to Michał Bartelik was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Hamid Yaqub from Pakistan a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 33 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Kleofas Grzegorzek of Polska had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. Hubert Niezgoda came in to finish the match. Hubert Niezgoda unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. The pressing tactics used by Pakistan were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. The visiting team's Junaid 'The Beast' Yasin was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 41 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. Priding himself in being an active coach, the Polska manager gave new instructions to his players after 41 minutes. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Polska enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 50 minutes into the match, and Changez Masood wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 1 - 2 for the visitors. Abdul-Salam Godharvi wanted to play on, but the Pakistan coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 50 minutes into the game by Hanif Harun. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Hamid Yaqub took over the role of being the Pakistan captain. In the lead, Pakistan adjusted their style of play with 50 minutes gone. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 60 minutes gave Polska a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and Grzegorz 'Iron Head' Orzeszyna stepped up to the challenge. 2 - 2 Under heavy pressure after 78 minutes, the inexperienced Polska struggled to maintain their level of play. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Polska coach decided it was time for a substitution. Zbigniew Kliński reluctantly made way for Zdzisław Zawadowicz on the pitch. Jacek Pieniądz was handed the Polska captain's armband. Oliwer Walkowicz would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Mateusz Gruchała entered the game for Polska as the match clock showed 87 minutes. Polska had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Polska's best player was Apoloniusz Szajda. However, Roman Koczaj made a disastrous appearance. Most important Pakistan player was Abdullah Nabibukhsh. On the other hand, Changez Masood's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 2.
